This Advent, our series is called The King is Coming. Throughout Advent we'll be looking at four kings in Scripture: King Saul, King David, King Solomon, King Jesus. Each week we'll read the passages connected to these kings and wrestle with the question: "Is this the king we've been waiting for?

Saul isn't ultimately the king. David isn't ultimately the king. Solomon isn't ultimately the king. All this longing and waiting points us to Jesus. He alone is the true King. He alone is worthy.
